huiyou : Une extension Chrome pour découvrir des vidéos Bilibili inédites
huiyou is a Chrome add-on developed by cldxiang that aims to provide users with the opportunity to discover videos on the popular Chinese video-sharing website, Bilibili, that have not yet been viewed by others. The add-on functions as a counter-recommendation system, allowing users to momentarily escape the overwhelming stream of popular recommendations and become the only viewer of a particular video.
The main purpose of huiyou is twofold. Firstly, it offers users a momentary respite from the crowded world of popular recommendations, granting them a moment of tranquility while also becoming the sole viewer of a video, apart from the creator. Secondly, it aims to support content creators who diligently document their lives through videos by providing them with at least one viewer for their content.
In line with these objectives, huiyou intermittently displays a small window in the top-right corner of the Bilibili webpage after the user has watched a certain number of videos or when a video is closed or paused. This window randomly recommends a VLOG video from the life category with zero views, with some filtering conditions applied. By clicking on the floating window, users can directly access the corresponding video page and become the first viewer of that video.
Additionally, huiyou offers some additional features. Users can click on the huiyou icon in the top-right corner to view the recent push history, which displays the most recent videos that have been recommended to them. This feature helps users retrieve recommended videos they may have missed accidentally. Furthermore, huiyou provides user-customizable options. By right-clicking on the huiyou icon and selecting "Options," users can adjust parameters and functionalities related to the push notifications of huiyou.
